Reclaiming the forgotten Jewish folk art of Shavuoslekh during COVID-19:
Finding the mental bandwidth and the supplies to craft artistically creative work during a global pandemic may seem like a fools errand, but join us for an evening of Torah study and Jewish papercuts as we take inspiration from a lost folk art tradition that requires only paper, pencil, and a pair of scissors as we craft ‘Shavuoslekh,’ simple flower inspired symmetrical papercuts that traditionally were created in the lead-up to Shavuot.
