Feeling numb, anxious, or in despair because of the climate crisis is 100% reasonable. And, these feelings can also be learned responses from our individual and collective histories. In this workshop, we’ll explore how climate emotions show up in our hearts and bodies; reflect on how we’ve been shaped by our ancestors’ experiences; and deepen our capacity for healing and action. Because when we tell the truth about how we’re feeling, we can give and receive care, and together build movements that can topple empires.
Participants can expect:
- Space for writing, reflection, & sharing
- Mindfulness & body-centered practices
- To leave better-resourced to face climate change
Facilitated by Rabbi Ora Nitkin-Kaner, trauma-informed climate change chaplain and founder of Exploring Apocalypse.
