Join us for a joyous Sukkot edition of our memoir-writing workshop in our community Sukkah. The Sukkah is located in the Botanical Heights Community Garden at 4060 Folsom Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110. The Sukkah is in a wide grassy area and should be accessible to all. We will be sitting in chairs and will have notebooks and pencils available.

This workshop is especially designed for older adults over 60, but welcome to all. You can attend one workshop or the whole series. These are small attempts at getting life's big stories and experiences into words. Practitioner Karen Schmidt will help facilitate memory hunting and putting your words on paper. Short, brief writing will be done in workshops. Together with others, we will start to probe the cobwebs of memories that are just begging to be written down.

Karen Schmidt comes to writing from a very personal place. Introduced to Journaling at a young age was a skill that has carried her through many of life's trials, hills, valleys, and joy!
