Synoptic Frequencies is a semi-regular concert series presenting experimental music in sacred spaces. 

Three performances happening this time around, with short breaks between sets. Opening the show is a first-time collaboration between Mere Harrach & Zach TBD. Mere is the mastermind behind the off-kilter folk project Mold Gold, and Zach is an accomplished visual artist and sound explorer.

Following will be a solo performance by violinist Alex Cunningham. Deeply inspired by the free improvisation movement, Alex's playing veers wildly from jagged, atonal squalls of noise to startling moments of lyrical beauty. He is a prolific collaborator, working across a wide spectrum of experimental music.

Closing the show will be a solo performance from Chaz Prymek, who performs as Lake Mary. Influenced by the "guitar soli" movement of the '60s and '70s, his virtuoso guitar work also incorporates the melodies of folk and bluegrass, the improvisational framework of rāga, and the textures of contemporary ambient music.

Writer, photographer, and artist Aaron Owens will be showing video work to complement the performances.
