Faith Based Town Hall (Reform St. Louis)

April 20, - Faith Based Town Hall to discuss Reform STL, a campaign to bring ethics reform to the Board of Aldermen in STL City.

Reform STL is a campaign to:

  • Ban conflicts of interest at the Board of Aldermen

  • Create an Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission to draw ward lines, rather than having Alderpersons drawing their own ward lines

  • Prohibit overturning the will of the people on voting reforms without a public vote

  • Require that new ward maps ensure racial equity & keep neighborhoods together

Please plan to join us tomorrow night at 7pm to hear from Rev. Cassandra Gould, Rev. Darryl Gray, Rabbi Susan Talve, Sister Carla Mae Streeter, and DeMarco Davidson about why they're supporting this initiative. This Faith Based Town Hall is co-sponsored by Missouri Faith Voices, the Jewish Community Relations Council, and MaTovu, with host committee members Shira Berkowitz and Helen Petty, both leaders in local faith communities.
