What is Drag Queen Story Time? It is just what it sounds like — drag queens reading stories to children. It captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids can see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real. It encourages children to look beyond gender stereotypes and embrace an unfettered exploration of self.
Jewish values embraced:
Betzelem Elohim: We are all created in the image of G-d
Kavod: Respect
Adam Yehidi Nivrah: Every person is uniquely beautiful.
