Open Walls is the first of three events connecting the universal message implicit in Judaism’s three pilgrimage holidays with the need and desire for social change. Join MaTovu and community partners at our Sukkah located at the Transgender Memorial Garden the week of October 13-19 during Sukkot (a Jewish holiday honoring a space to welcome all people, past and present, to build stronger, wider communities). We’ll eat, share ideas, and create joy together.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13
10:00 AM: Join MaTovu to build our Sukkah! (meet at MaTovu, 4200 Blaine Ave)
3:00 PM: Cook out and decorate the Sukkah with MTUG (Metro Trans Umbrella Group) at the Trans Memorial Garden (Rain location: MaTovu)
