Public event posted by Hosted by Talia Luxemburg and Lauren Pyatt
100 years ago, Rosa Luxemburg was one of the first victims of German fascists. She was a revolutionary, a woman, a Jew, an atheist, a Pole, a German, an immigrant, a disabled person, and more. She was all of those things but allowed none of them to define her. Mostly she wanted to be known as a socialist and a theoretician of Marxism.
Join us as we observe Rosa’s centennial yahrzeit, learn about her amazing life, and how we can look to her for moving forward in the ongoing fight against fascism.
We will have snacks at 6:30, and begin the event at 7.
MaTovu is an accessible space.
